A piece of colors, contrasts, and layers of texture represents the beauty and complexity of human emotions. Textures have a language of their own. They tell stories beyond words and unlock a world of possibilities. Textures challenge us to explore, lose ourselves in their complexities, and find new meanings.
At the beginning of each painting, I start building layers of color, texture, and pattern to create an abstract piece. Layering is a key aspect of abstract art, adding depth, complexity, and meaning to each work.Composition and color are the most important tenets of a successful abstract painting.
My work is about our ability to discover beauty and wonder in the chaos around us when we slow down enough to really see what's in front of us…
